Dr. John Jones is the President and Co-Founder of Global-ER, a leading medical services firm based in McLean, Virginia. As President, Dr. Jones is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the firm.
Dr. Jones joined Global-ER after 7 years of experience in Emergency Room Medicine at George Washington University Hospital, Quincy Medical Center and Inova Fairfax Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center with over 75,000 patient visits per year. He is one of the few doctors in the world that has successfully treated a patient that was exposed to Inhalational Anthrax (Washington DC area, 2001).
Dr. Jones is a member of the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine, the American College of Emergency Physicians and American Academy of Pediatrics. He earned his Medical Doctorate from the George Washington University School of Medicine where he was the President of the Beaumont Medical Research Society and was awarded the Donald H. Glew Memorial Award in Research and the Department of Emergency Medicine Award. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College where he graduated with High Honors and was awarded the Christopher G. Reed Biologist Award.
Dr. Jones is married to Michelle T. Kladakis M.D., a graduate of Yale University and George Washington School of Medicine. They have four children and currently reside in McLean, Virginia.
