Paul Mermelstein is the Chair of the Luxury Travel Committee of the Hokenson Group Advisory Board. His areas of expertise are Upscale/Luxury Travel Services, especially with regard to the Caribbean.

Paul is an expert in the business of travel, having visited over 1,000 resorts, villas, hotels and unique properties around the world.

Paul is the founder and former President of Island Hideaways, Inc., a leading travel services firm that represents over 600 private villas in the Caribbean. Island Hideaways’ web site was awarded the prestigious “Best of the Web” designation by Forbes magazine for an unprecedented 6 straight years. Paul was the President of Island Hideaways for over 20 years and he recently sold the firm to a multi-national travel company.

Paul is married with one son and resides in Fairfax, Virginia.
